If you're looking for some, browse along to the Christmas Ringtones on my ringtone page. Jingle Bells, Hark the Herald, Silent Night and Jingle Bell Rock all in MIDI format just to get things lively over Christmas time...
I've found www.tuneusin.com , which offers some great free tones to download and also a wap service for download via your BlackBerry. It would quite possibly work on other phones as well. The quality of the tones are good.
They also have a conversion facility for ringtones that you upload, as well as a big selection of free wallpapers to download. Lemme know what you think!
Mobiles24.com offers free mp3 and midi downloads on a credit system. I asume you get credits when you upload your tones to their system, but you have about 30 free credits on regsitration, so it seems pretty cool. You can also download to your PC or via their WAP interface. They seem to have a good selection there.
Check out IWFR.net for 10 free polyphonic tones daily. They come in midi format, so should work on most mobile phones. Unfortunately it's only 10 a day, but you can probably build up a nice midi database by checking back daily.
I recently found another cool site with reasonable amount of free mp3's to use for ringtones. Check out www.tuneusin.com. They have all kinds of tones in mp3 format like R&B, Hip Hop, Latin, Reggae, Country, Theme Songs, Sound Effects and much more. I especially like the 2001 Space Oddessey theme song :-)
It's that time of the year again and I've made availble a selection of classic Christmas ringtones. Click the link to check them out! There are also a nice selection of other free ringtones for download.
I've added some free downloadable custom message alerts on my ringtone conversion page. Also find a nice selection of other free ringtones including christmas ringtones there.
I've completed my 3 article toturial series on AMR ringtone production. The final installment discussed how to load ringtones onto your cellphone. This is obviously quite essential when you're downloading all those free ringtones, so check out the ringtone tutorial on the other site. If you have any questions, remember to post them in the ringtone forum.
BTW if you find any of the links on this site not working, please post a comment on the related post so that I can follow it up!!
If you're looking for a great way to upload MP3 ringtones to your phone absolutely free, check out mixxer.com. You can either subscribe to download popular music from your favorite artists, or just use your free locker to upload mp3's to your phone.
I have completed the second tutorial in the 3 part series on how to produce Nokia AMR ringtones. It's available on the ringtone producer website. I've created 2 different realtones to download in AMR-WB format. They are both full songs I produced myself, even though I cut them to ringtone size. Let me know what you think!
Further I've just got myself an LG KG800 Chocolate phone and also did a review on it on the same site.
Thought the ring blog could do with a new colour scheme. Let me know what you think! I'm also still working on the second part of the AMR ringtone production series of articles. Work is a bit hectic so I'm not getting to spend as much time as I would like on my favorite hobbies :-(
Fear not however, it will immediately be mentioned here when it's done.
Over at Ringtone Producer I'm working on a range of tutorials on how to make your own AMR ringtones (realtones) for your Nokia cell phone. Head on over there and bookmark the site. First tutorial will be up within the next week.
I found a cool new site called TonePimp (another pimp site ;-). There are 17,000 plus free ringtones and you can share your own ringtones for download there. Remember to also check out the new ringtone producer site!
My ringtone-producer.com site has now officially been launched with a new WordPress platform. This will be the new home of Free Ringtone Downloads, allthough I will still continue to keep this website for the link archive. Visit it now, register in the ringtone forums and come and introduce yourself.
I recently noticed Anime Online which promotes free anime ringtones for T-Mobile, Sprint and Cingular users, but it also ends up being a subscription service. They do warn you, but I'm sure many people don't realise that they're getting into a subscription contract.
Just be sure to always read the terms and conditions when signing up for 'free ringtones'.
Since I couldn't find any decent Christmas ringtones sites for free I've prepared some myself on my conversions page. Get your free christmas ringtones here. Just scroll down to the free ringtone section.
With Thanks Giving just past, I've had many requests for putting up turkey ringtones. You can find a free turkey ringtone on the free ringtones page under free MMF ringtones and Nokia AMR truetones. The MMF is for Samsung and the AMR for Nokia phones. Enjoy!
